She was totally skeptical.

After a 45 minute meeting with a new attorney client, I showed her how she could save $82,000 by switching which plan her federal loans were on and another $12,000 by refinancing her private loan.

I walked her through all the numbers, but she couldn’t wrap her head around how much money my advice just saved her.

She legitimately thought it was too good to be true.

I had to explain that it’s not uncommon for a proper plan to result in tens of thousands of dollars saved – I see it almost every day.

Bottom line – prudent counsel is a tremendous investment, not a cost.
