When it comes to investing I think we can all agree that “diversification” is a good thing.

Diversification = never owning enough of any one thing to make a killing and never owning enough of one thing to be able to get killed by it.

Here’s the hard truth…when you invest a chunk of your hard earned money in the following things you are likely not properly diversified:

– A few stocks in a Robinhood account
– Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, etc.)
– Weed stocks
– Some “hot” biotech or technology fund

It’s tempting to get rich quick, but it’s never a viable long-term strategy.
